About Robin

Robin Powell, aka SoulArtist Robin, is a visual artist who offers healing, empowering and expressive Art and workshops. She has served the Los Angeles Metropolitan Community's TAY, LGBTQ+, the previously incarcerated, those in recovery and unhoused populations. 

Robin began her Art studies at the Detroit Institute of Arts at the age of 7 after it was noted that she had a gift by the age of 5. She has studied Fine Arts and taken coursework in Art at several Institutions, most recently Otis College of Art & Design in California.  She also holds a BS in Biology.

She has been a lead Compassionate Artist with Posts for Peace & Justice starting in 2015; Mosaic artist and volunteer with Piece by Piece since 2011. 

Robin is a Therapeutic Art Coach and Certified Community Teaching Artist through Cal State LA and the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.

Robin's Art is channeled through visions and synesthesia. After several Shamans let her know that they saw healing energy coming from her hands Robin became certified as a USUI Reiki Master/Instructor, Johrei, Pranic II and Spiritual Healer in order to better understand her healing gifts.  People have said that her Artwork contains healing energy.
